Generally patient can either obtain a referral from his/ her GP or other doctor, or they can self-refer to see Mr Ahmed in the clinic.

Mr Ahmed is recognised by all major health insurance companies (including Allianz, Aviva, AXA, Aetna, Bupa, Cigna, Vitality, WPA). Please speak with your insurance company to confirm your policy cover and obtain a pre-authorisation number. If your insurance company is not listed here, please contact them to discuss, as most will allow cover if the surgeon is recognised by the major insurers.

Consultations and diagnostic tests such as scans or colonoscopy are carried out at Circle Health Group , Threeshire Hospital, Northampton, Most surgical procedures are also carried out at the Threeshire Hospital although in some instances complex / major cases may, by arrangement, be carried out privately at the Northampton General Hospital.
