MR Jamil Ahmed
Consultant Laparoscopic General and Colorectal SurgeonMr Jamil Ahmed is committed to performing high-quality surgery with great respect and compassion for his patients. He has a strong interest in the minimally invasive approach to treating colorectal disorders and is committed to surgical research, academia, teaching, and continually mastering his field of interest.
Mr Ahmed has extensive laparoscopic surgical experience and recently initiated robotic colorectal surgery in the Colorectal Department at Northampton General Hospital. He performs all colorectal procedures via a minimally invasive approach for both malignant and benign conditions.
Aside from being a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon, he is also a surgical tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is an Education Lead for the Surgical Department at Northampton General Hospital.
He is the faculty member for several surgical courses organised by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has conducted several international master classes on laparoscopic surgery. He is a Faculty and Lead of the Educational Committee for the Serbian National Training Programme for Minimally Invasive Colorectal Surgery.
